Multidisciplinary risk management group Lucion Services have announced that it is bringing Innov8, its dedicated CDM, construction safety, and consultancy service, into line with its other specialist divisions and corporate structure.

 

As a result, Innov8 Risk Consultants will now become Lucion Consulting, joining Lucion Environmental and Lucion Marine as distinct operational divisions within the overall Lucion Services group.

The wide range of environmental and occupational health and safety services provided by Lucion Consultants will not be affected by the name change, with clients being able to continue to benefit from expert advice on risk management and mitigation strategies to ensure regulatory compliance on complex issues such as hazardous material management and health and safety governance.

Lucion Consulting Managing Consultant, Jeremy Meredith explained:

“Lucion acquired Innov8 Safety Solutions in 2015 and at that time we naturally wanted to retain the positive awareness, strong identity and reputational benefits associated with the original company name.

“However, over the last three years the operation has grown considerably from its North West origins into a leading national player and in the process now provides a much broader range of health and safety management consultancy services.

“The business is now a fundamental part of the Lucion Services offering and as such it makes total sense to bring it formally and clearly into the group branding structure.

“Our feedback from clients shows that this is something that they will appreciate, removing any potential confusion and enabling us to introduce dedicated Lucion client account handlers as a single point of contact for mixed safety services drawn from our different areas of expertise.”

Established in 2007, Innov8 was established on Merseyside as a specialist construction sector health and safety business.

After joining Lucion, Innov8 was merged with risk consultancy Salbrook Vance in 2017, taking group responsibility for the provision of consultancy services across a wide range of health and safety advice across the built, natural and marine environments, including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

The operation now has 15 specialist health and safety risk consultants working from a national network of offices and is also responsible for delivering Lucion’s comprehensive health and safety training course programme.

Lucion Services has experienced continuous growth since its formation in 2002, now employing over 300 staff around the country and with an annual turnover of around £25 million.
