To support the publication of the Joint Industry Working Group’s Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012: Interpretation for Managing and Working with Asbestos in Soil and Construction and Demolition (C&D) materials: Industry Guidance (shortened name CAR-SOIL TM)”, CL:AIRE is delighted to announce the launch of a package of training courses across the UK.

 

Financially backed by Lucion Services, Erith Group, Harrow Estates, Soilfix Ltd, and Vertase, CAR-SOIL TM is the authoritative document interpreting the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012 or the Regulations) as applied to working with ground materials contaminated by asbestos, having been prepared with the support of the Health and Safety Executive.

The guidance in CAR-SOIL TM is underpinned by the fundamental requirements expressed in the Regulations, in relation to the protection of employees from risks related to exposure to asbestos, but is set within a carefully considered framework designed specifically for soil and C&D materials.
