Training Gap Analysis

Our Consultants will carry out a training needs analysis to identify different categories of employees based on their role and responsibilities and propose suitable training courses that meets their needs. We can also develop tailored training aids and course content to improve delegate participation and understanding in the context of existing site procedures that they are already accustomed to.

Our Tutors have over 5 years experience in the asbestos industry, covering surveying, analytical, remediation and consultancy, and have a comprehensive understanding of the control of asbestos regulations 2012, HSE guidance and associated legislation.

Classroom Based Courses

Lucion Services is an experienced provider of expert and specialist training services. All our training courses are certified by relevant industry bodies, including UKATA and RoSPA, ensuring you receive trusted training services with quality control and consistency across all courses delivered.

The majority of our training is delivered using in-house resources and via e-learning solutions, which ensures we maintain a high standard of delivery and quality assurance rather than subcontracting to other training providers whose quality control and delivery methods may not be as robust or comprehensive as ours. In addition, our trainers are also consultants, so they are all active within the industry and bring real-life working experience to your training course.

Whether the training sessions are taking place at your chosen location or at one of our dedicated training centres, courses are typically delivered through a mixture of presentations, course notes and exam papers which delegates complete throughout the course. We have well-equipped training facilities in Gatwick, Gateshead and Glasgow that can be used to hold training courses, and we can also attend your chosen premises if required.

With a variety of classroom based UKATA accredited asbestos courses to choose from and options for the development of bespoke courses, we can provide training solutions that meets your specific needs in a cost effective programme that ensures continued compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and best practice. Our asbestos classroom-based courses include:

E-Learning Training Courses

We provide an online training option for a variety of health and safety training courses which is likely to present a significant cost savings. Courses include display screen assessment, manual handling, working at height, asbestos awareness, legionella awareness and many more.

The key benefit of e-learning is that it gives full control to the client and allows you to manage how many licenses you need and see who has carried out the training at any given time. The other key factor is the flexibility that e-learning provides, in that it prevents the need to send groups of staff to classroom type training. The license allows the user to login from anywhere with an internet connection and can be revisited at any time to complete should you need to.

What are my responsibilities?

Under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, employers are legally required to provide asbestos training to workers. Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 states that every employer must ensure that any employee employed by that employer is given adequate information, instruction and training.
