Members of our Lucion Services management team deliver essential information on asbestos management and control measures during a series of seminars hosted by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) throughout the UK.

Over the past 5 years, our specialist Asbestos Consultant, Stuart Goodman, has spoken at previous RICS events on how to effectively manage asbestos risks from cradle to grave. This year, RICS invited our Lucion team members to speak at multiple RICS seminars throughout the UK in an effort to provide delegates with key essential information about best practices when discovering and managing asbestos materials and risks.

 

Who are RICS?

Founded in 1868, the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is a membership and accreditation body who work globally to enforce and promote a singular high standard for valuation, management, and development of the built environment. Working collaboratively with multiple organisations, RICS has been fundamental in developing standards of consistency, benchmarking and measuring from creating a standard method of measuring spaces (International Land Measuring Standard) through to founding International Ethics Standards).

RICS champions sharing knowledge across all industries to promote best practices and implement these standards through effective training and guidance for industries and professionals.

 

Our Speakers

Four of our management and consultant team members volunteered to deliver bespoke presentations on behalf of RICS at four separate events spanning the nation. 

One of our most experienced speakers Chris Wilson will be speaking at the Hilton in Hull on Thursday 28th November 2019. Chris started out in the asbestos industry in 2004 and joined Lucion through the dynamic acquisition of Redhills in 2011. He is the Regional Manager for the Humber and East Riding region and consistently manages a high volume of client contracts across multiple sectors. Chris has a practical approach to delivering asbestos services with a focus on planning and client communications, delivering works in-line with project objectives.

Chris has played an integral role in the development of Lucion’s award-winning compliance management software, NexGen. He has also been fundamental in the implementation of QR codes and the development of the software’s feature extension of 3D building and risk management mapping known as NexPlore. 

Chris heroes the use of technology in all aspects of risk management to facilitate the protection of both the environment and individuals.
