Leading asbestos safety and risk management group Lucion Services is expanding its network of regional offices by setting up a new operation covering Ireland.

 

The company is opening a new office in Omagh from where it will provide specialist asbestos safety services, analysis and consultancy support throughout Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic.

Lucion will specialise in carrying out surveys for asbestos-containing materials and undertaking specialist air monitoring and analysis services. This include access to specialist UKAS accredited laboratory facilities for detailed asbestos sampling and testing services, which includes scanning electron microscopy (SEM) for fibre determination and detailed monitoring reports.

Working alongside the company’s specialist surveyors, Lucion’s dedicated risk management advisors also provide strategic asbestos management consultancy, handling the process of compliance and ongoing management of asbestos including management plans and policy reviews.

Lucion’s new office in Ireland will be headed by experienced asbestos industry professional Shane McGill. He said:
